This 4th of July feels like it’s a pretty momentous one after the year that we all have had! But there is still some risk with celebrating like it’s still 1999—so here are a few things that should be kept in mind if you are venturing out this year!
With new strains of the virus spreading throughout the world, it might not be the safest environment for traveling, but if you do travel be sure to follow proper precautions such as keeping yourself socially distanced, stay masked, and always wash your hands for more than 20 seconds!
If you are going to be hosting an event of some sort, try to limit the amount of people coming in if you can, and also consider checking people’s temperatures using a contactless method—most people will not be offended at this point if you ask to take their temperature! If you will be cooking food for others, try to find a way to distribute food that limits the amount of contact others will be making with it!
This 4th of July doesn’t have to be a complete wash, but we should not be careless either! If we all stay safe and follow the recommendations that have been laid out by the CDC and the WHO we can get through this together!
